Compact and flexible

Each AXIS T8648 PoE + coaxial blade combination set comes with one AXIS T8646 PoE + over coax blade and six extra compact AXIS T8643 PoE + over Coax Compact devices for six cameras. Because AXIS T8643 devices are extra compact, it is very easy to integrate them into your installations.

You already own the chassis

The Six-channel blade set can be used with any Axis chassis with video encoders or with an AXIS 291 1U video server rack. You can easily remove encoder sheets that are no longer needed and replace them with AXIS T8646 PoE + over coax blades. The installation costs are low because you do not have to purchase a new chassis. And you can use any combination of encoder blades and PoE + via Coax blades, so you can migrate to IP at your own pace.

Let your Coax cables do double the work < / p>

With the AXIS T8648 PoE + coaxial blade combination kit, you can re-use hard-to-replace or long-distance coax cabling when replacing your analog cameras with Axis network cameras. And you can integrate Power over Ethernet via Coax for efficient energy management. Distances depend on the power required and the type of cable quality.

A compact - and powerful - solution

The Axis chassis acts as a network switch, so you do not have to purchase and install separate switches. Easily connect AXIS T8646 PoE + over coax blades to your choice of two AXIS rack-mounted power supply solutions AXIS T8085 or AXIS T8082 for a compact and cost-effective modular installation. For example, you can use up to 36 cameras with a 500 watt AXIS T8085 PS57 500W 1U power source. And you can connect to a backup power source for extra reliability. Or use AXIS T8082 PS57 Chassis 2KW 1U for even larger installations. It consists of a power supply chassis that comes with two 1 KW power modules and has additional slots for a further 1K power modules. The total possible effect is therefore 4K with built-in redundancy.
