AXIS Face Detector accurately detects human faces in live video and can visually highlight the face as the image is displayed on a connected public-view-monitor. The face appears surrounded by a customizable bounding box and gives the illusion that advanced facial recognition analytics are running in the background whereas only the face is detected - there’s no further analysis performed. AXIS Face Detector features edge analytics so there’s no need for a dedicated analytics server – analysis is performed on the uncompressed video feed to give you a more flexible system.
