Wide Dynamic Range

Wide Dynamic Range with dynamic capture functions by acquiring multiple images with different shutter speeds. Together with the advanced image processing, this results in video with exceptional brightness and sharpness in which no part of the image is too dark or too bright. This is advantageous in specific environments where backlighting or intense contrast is a problem. The new AXIS Q1604 network cameras are perfectly suited for observation of entrances, buildings with large windows and tunnel passages.

The Q1604 cameras offer superb image quality in progressive scan in 1 MP resolution. Moreover, these HDTV streaming in 720p at 30 fps and are able to do HDTV video streaming in accordance with the SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) HDTV standards in resolution, color representation and frame rate.

Easy installation with focus assistant, remote back focus and pixel counter The focus assistant gives an indication that the image is in focus using the LED on the front. After this rough setting, the remote back focus makes fine adjustment possible via a browser. The unique pixel counter helps ensure that the viewing angle is optimal for the area to be observed and has the required pixel resolution.
