AXIS T95A

The Axis T95A dome housing for Axis PTZ and Dome cameras is ideal for outdoor use of the Axis 213, 214, 215, 231D +, 232D + and 233D. With this T95A housing you can install all cameras with one set and you have both a clear and a smoked glass dome.

Axis used the Videotec DBH18 Medusa housing as the basis for this, and made its own adapter specifically for all Axis cameras and a clear manual especially for installing the Axis cameras. The housing is therefore only available in 2 versions: The standard 110-240V version and on request the 24VAC version.

Medusa is the new trendsetter in the market for housings for speed domes and network PTZ cameras. Made from a solid aluminum alloy, it guarantees excellent protection (IP66 factor) for cameras placed outside and optimum impact resistance thanks to the polycarbonate window. The Medusa is much more compact than most other dome housings and the dimensions of the tapered design measure only 35 cm to 22 cm diagonally.

The patented installation system is innovative and very user-friendly, both at the time of the initial installation and during service. Thanks to the opening at the top, the camera is easy to install in the housing and a difficult and awkward assembly is avoided. The internal camera mounting material is designed so that the installed camera follows the curve of the window almost parallel and reduces image distortion to a minimum. The internal mounting material can also be adjusted for the different brands and types of speed domes and PTZ network cameras.

The dome is standard equipped with awnings and a heating element with fan assistance.

The wall mounting bracket must be ordered separately.
