The SLA-M8550D is a 1/2.8" CS-mount varifocal lens built to support 3 Megapixel cameras. It covers a focal length range of 8.5 to 50mm with a 5.9x zoom ratio, giving flexibility from wider to more telephoto fields of view. Its F1.6 DC type Auto Iris automatically adapts to changing light conditions, while focus and zoom are adjusted manually. The lens has a maximum image format of 5.12mm x 3.84mm and angles of view ranging from 42.3° to 7.5° diagonal. Compact and lightweight at 46 x 60 x 58.2mm and 80g, it suits a variety of megapixel camera installations.
