This special Midspan unit provides you with power via the network cable to IP cameras and IR emitters, while it also has overvoltage protection.

The PowerDsine High Power PoE Midspan provides you with a high power of 40W via the normal network cable, for example to provide PTZ network cameras or a Network camera in an outdoor housing with voltage, without having to route an extra 220V cable to the products.

With this midspan unit you always need a suitable splitter or housing with splitter on the side of the camera that supplies the camera with the correct voltage.

This midspan unit is equipped with 1 Gigabit port.

This Midspan complies with both the 802.3at and the 802.3af standard, so that it can also serve as a normal PoE unit instead of the much-supplied 3Com unit, if extra protection is required with an outdoor camera to prevent skipping due to lightning strikes on the network.
