Milestone Kite Cloud 8MP/4K, 14 days Storage

Milestone Kite is cloud-based so it's easy to run, accessible from anywhere, and you don’t have to worry about updates and maintenance. It’s also an open solution, giving you the freedom to choose from more than 6,000 camera models and a variety of extra analytic and access control functions to complement its core functions.

Differences between Cloud and Edge storage

Milestone Kite gives us 2 options, Cloud and Edge storage. With Cloud storage it is possible to store all camera images on an Online Cloud and to view them easily here, with Edge storage it is only possible to store the camera images on a server.

To use the Cloud storage, a 2TB Cloud storage Gateway and a stable internet connection are required.

To use the Edge storage, an 8TB Edge storage Gateweay is required and you do not need a stable internet connection for this.

With Cloud storage there are also several options in image quality: 2MP, 4MP and 8MP/4K. There are also several add-ons available for the Cloud storage, such as: Cloud Continuous, Cloud Analytics and Access Control.
