AXIS Fence Guard is a trip wire application designed to protect fenced-off areas from intrusion. The application automatically triggers an alarm when it detects a moving object, for example a person or vehicle, crossing a user-defined virtual line.

The application is typically used for after-hours monitoring of office buildings, industrial properties, vehicle depots and other fenced-off areas.

AXIS Fence Guard is easy to set up and configure. The intuitive user interface with real-time visual confirmation provides an easy way to correctly validate the application detects objects. AXIS Fence Guard-E is supported by Axis False Alarm Filtering that suppresses most common sources or false alarms, such as headlights, swaying trees and smaller animals.
