Description Qognify 5 Backup management
Running this software daily prevents the NAS from being full at a certain time and prevents backups from being made. Also, only a portion of the NAS can be reserved for SeeTec to make it possible to use the NAS for other things.
SeeTec Backup Management analyzes the contents of the backup folder on the NAS. It looks at what the day is with the most recordings and is therefore the largest folder. It also looks at how much space is left in comparison to the maximum set space. If the largest folder does not fit again, the same number of days will be deleted until this is the case. Of course, the oldest backups are deleted, creating a ring buffer.
