AXIS Q8722-E is a high-quality combination of a visual camera with integrated 10x optical zoom lens and a thermal camera (with SVGA resolution) perfectly synchronized in pan and tilt movements. The thermal camera can achieve higher detection accuracy and can also work in complete darkness and adverse weather conditions. The visual camera offers recognition options and at night can benefit from the optional PT IR lighting set for a better identification.

Multiple H.264 video streams

The visual and thermal cameras can deliver different independent H.264 streams for different quality needs and bandwidth limitations at the same time.

Ready for monitoring outdoors

AXIS Q8722-E is specially designed for reliable, weather-resistant installation, with IP66 classified material for protection against the ingress of dust and high-pressure water jets from any direction and can operate at temperatures from -30 ° C to +45 ° C (- 22 ° F to 113 ° F).

Both visual and thermal cameras are connected to an Ethernet switch that is placed in the housing. Only one Ethernet cable is needed from that switch to view both cameras.
