The AXIS Q8721-E is a high-end combination of a visual camera with integrated 10x optical zoom lens and a thermal camera perfectly synchronized in rotational and tilt movements. The thermal camera can perform very accurate detection, can operate in complete darkness and also in bad weather conditions. The visual camera offers night recognition options and benefits from the optional PT IR Illuminator kit A for better identification.

Multiple H.264 video streams

The visual and thermal cameras can deliver different, independent H.264 streams according to the need for image quality and bandwidth.

Outdoor-ready surveillance

The AXIS Q8721-E has been specifically designed so that it can be installed reliably waterproof. With IP66-rated material that is resistant to dust and water pressure from any side and can operate in temperatures from -30 to +45 Celcius. Both the visual and the thermal camera are connected to an Ethernet switch that is located in the housing. To operate both cameras and view streams, only one Ethernet cable is required.
