Ultimate video quality

The HDTV 1080p is in accordance with the SMPTE 274M standard for a 1920x1080 pixel resolution (twice the resolution of HDTV 720p), full frame rate at 25/30 frames per second, HDTV color fidelity and a 16: 9 format. The AXIS Q6035 also supports 50/60 frames per second in HDTV 720p, ideal for applications where fast motion must be recorded.

The AXIS Q6035 has a high pan / tilt speed of 450 degrees per second and allows the camera to change its viewing position very quickly.

The camera supports multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams. H.264 optimizes bandwidth and storage without compromising image quality.

Thanks to the HDTV 1080p resolution and the 20x optical zoom with autofocus, the camera offers extremely detailed, zoomed images that are comparable to a 4CIF-resolution camera with a magnitude of 2x larger optical zoom. The AXIS Q6035 supports day / night functionality for clear video even in low light conditions. And, the camera offers a wide dynamic range so that objects in dark and light areas of a scene are more visible.

Advanced PTZ functionality

With the active Gatekeeper, the camera can automatically maneuver to a preset position if motion is detected and track the detected object.

The camera is also easy to set to automatically follow a pattern with the tour recording function. The user can, for example, use a joystick to control the camera, pause at positions of interest, zoom in, etc. This followed path is then stored including pauses and rest points and can then be repeated simply and automatically at the touch of a button or on a calendar basis.

Power over Ethernet for easy installation

The AXIS Q6035 can be powered via Power over Ethernet Plus (IEEE 802.3at). This simplifies the installation because only one (1) cable is needed for power, video and PTZ control. A 30 Watt High PoE midspan is included with the camera.
