The AXIS Q1910 is an indoor Thermal Network camera and a reliable product for detection in darkness and difficult environments. The thermal camera can be an excellent addition to an IP Surveillance installation, where conventional day / night cameras are insufficient. Day / night video cameras depend on a certain amount of infrared light to produce images. Thermal cameras have a range that extends beyond the infrared from the spectrum and are therefore capable of observation in circumstances where normal cameras can no longer do so. For example, due to the (poor) light situation or when there are difficult circumstances such as fog, complete darkness or other poor visibility situations. The thermal camera is also a good solution when heat sources other than people need to be detected, such as equipment and pipes in the chemical industry where the presence of people is not possible or desirable.

The Q1910-E camera is suitable for outdoor use, delivers a resolution of 160x128 at a frame rate of 8, 33fps and has an angle of view of 17 degrees. The camera is outdoor ready and built into an IP66 housing with thermostat-controlled heating. There is support for ONVIF, additional Pan and Tilt units, H.264 compression, audio, local storage, I / O, motion detection and the like.
