AXIS P1347-E Superior 5 Megapixel / HDTV 1080p image quality for outdoor video surveillance

The outdoor-ready AXIS P1347-E Network Camera offers superb video quality in 5 Megapixel resolution including HDTV 1080p and multiple, individually configurable H.264 and Motion JPEG streams. The camera offers P-Iris control, Day / Night functionality, digital PTZ, remote back focus, focus assistant and pixel counter. The IP66-rated camera, protected against dust and water, is powered via Ethernet and can operate in a temperature range of -40 to 50 centigrade. It supports two-way audio, audio detection, tamper alarm, and has an SD / SDHC slot for optional local storage. The AXIS P1347-E is ideal for many outdoor applications.

Outdoor Ready
The P1347-E is immediately ready for installation indoors and outdoors. The camera is built into the housing, only mounting the wall mount bracket and connecting the network cable are the few steps to install the camera. The wall-mounted bracket has an internal cable entry that helps prevent the risk of tampering and damage.

Superior Day / Night image quality in 5 Mpix / HDTV 1080p
The AXIS P1347-E is an HDTV 1080p, day and night network camera that delivers excellent video performance, including full frame rate, 2560x1920 resolution. It supports multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG streams simultaneously that individual part can be set to different resolutions and other features for optimization of storage and bandwidth usage. The camera has a Day / Night function that can be activated automatically, manually and on a calendar basis.

Advanced iris control
The AXIS P1347-E is also characterized by the P-Iris, a new and revolutionary precision iris control system that delivers optimum image quality under all lighting conditions. It delivers images with better contrast, brightness, resolution and depth of field. A good depth of field, where objects at different distances from the camera must be in focus at the same time, is important for video monitoring of, for example, a long hall or parking area. The camera also supports DC-Iris lenses for backward compatibility.

Digital PTZ
The camera supports digital PTZ, which means that part of the image can be viewed while the entire image is being recorded. The cameras also support tilting and turning (Pan and Tilt) and digital zooming in and out. The digital PTZ functionality can be used to limit bandwidth and storage usage by only streaming the area of ​​interest.

Easy installation features
Installation is made easy thanks to features such as Power over Ethernet, the focus assistant, the pixel counter and remote back focus, which make it possible to adjust the fine-tuning of the focus from a computer instead of physically performing it on the camera.
