This camera has been precisely designed to precision standards and offers the most robust solution with dual optical / thermal image registration that is available in the industry today.

Operation based on different protocols

The MIC Series 612 is equipped with the standard Bosch controller interface for displaying the familiar on-screen menus and multiple protocols, including Bosch "Biphase (OSRD)," "Bilinx," and Pelco "P" and "D." This makes the camera easy to use used in combination with systems that already use Bosch AutoDome cameras and systems.

High-quality camera with simultaneous thermal / optical video output

Image control and quality are an essential part of any PTZ camera, and the MIC Series 612 delivers outstanding performance. The high-quality day / night camera with 36x optical zoom lens and full 12x digital zoom and the high-quality, uncooled thermal image sensor are built into the housing side by side. Each MIC Series 612 has two video outputs, one for the optical camera and one that the user can swap between the optical camera and the thermal image sensor. The optical camera delivers a horizontal resolution of 550 TVL for a very clear and detailed image and also includes a large dynamic range (WDR), whereby the range is enlarged no less than 128 times. This results in clear images even in environments with extremely high contrast. The AutoScaling (proportional zooming) and AutoPivot (automatic turning and tilting of the camera) functions ensure optimum camera control. Thanks to day / night functionality and outstanding sensitivity, the MIC Series 612 Cameras deliver exceptional performance under all lighting conditions. In low light, this optical camera automatically switches from color to black and white by removing the IR filter. This increases sensitivity, while maintaining excellent image quality. To be able to function even with the lowest amount of light, the shutter speed can only be used for one second using the SensUp shutter speed control. This increases the sensitivity by a factor of 50. The camera is suitable for low-light environments, but it also provides exceptional performance when viewed under a sodium vapor lamp (such as a lamppost or tunnel lamp). These images usually have a yellow tint. The camera automatically compensates for the image and returns objects to their original color. The thermal image sensor has user-selectable color options such as white hotspots, black hotspots and many others and a built-in protection against direct sunlight. As a result, the camera automatically restores the image when it is aimed directly at the sun. Models with standard resolution are also provided with an on-screen temperature display (spot meter) to be selected by the user.
