Fast PTZ Dome Camera with HD resolution video

The SNC-RH164 is a network video camera that delivers high quality HD video image in 720p format (1280x720) at 30 fps and a 16: 9 aspect ratio. The SNC-RH164 is suitable for outdoor day / night use and is integrated in an easy-to-install outdoor housing.

The PTZ Dome camera has an endless, 360 degree panoramic range and the tilt (tilt) range is 210 degrees (with e-flip function) and the maximum transfer speed is 400 degrees / second. The SNC-RH164 has a 10-fold optical zoom. Thanks to these features, the camera can cover a very large area and change position very quickly.

The SNC-RH164 features state-of-the-art technologies for improving image quality. The XDNR (Excellent Dynamic Noise Reduction) feature eliminates almost all blur in low-light situations. The camera also has a Visibility Enhancing technology that has been developed to improve performance under challenging lighting conditions, such as environments with high contrast. The improved visibility makes surveillance possible in particularly dark and clear areas that were previously difficult to monitor, such as in casinos and highways.

The camera can produce video images in H.264, MPEG-4 and Motion-JPEG compression and supports dual streaming (H.264 + M-Jpeg or MPEG-4 + M-Jpeg). There is a choice of different resolutions including 1280x720 (HD 720p), 768 x 576, 640 x 480, 320 x 240 that can be produced in H.264 or MPEG-4 at a full frame rate of 30fps. The Motion-JPEG also supports 1280x720 to 10 fps.

The camera housing is easy to mount on an (optional) wall, wall or ceiling bracket thanks to a turn-and-lock system. The camera must be powered with a 24Vac 85Watt power supply. Sony has a suitable outdoor power supply (SNCA-PS244E) in its range.

The SNC-RH164 is delivered including: sunroof, rotate-and-lock coupling, waterproof plugs, screws, installation manual, CD-ROM (Users guide, SNC toolbox) and fall protection cable.
