View-DR extends dynamic range for significantly improved imaging in scenes with high contrast and strong backlight, such as sun-drenched offices or entrances to car parks. Image stabilization keeps video images sharp and clear, even when the camera is exposed to vibrations on a mounting pole or bracket.

The SNC-EM601 comes with 3 years of PrimeSupport, Sonys improved warranty package that is available in EU countries plus Norway and Switzerland. PrimeSupport provides access to a multilingual team of support engineers who help identify and solve technical problems by telephone. Alternatively, Sony will arrange the shipment of a replacement unit if the error cannot be resolved immediately.
