The SNC-CS50P is an intelligent network camera. It is a high spec, fixed network camera for mission critical monitoring applications. With features such as automatic Day / Night setting for moderate light conditions and PoE for flexible or redundant power supply, it is a versatile camera.

In addition to the excellent image quality and full functionality expected from Sony network cameras, the SNC-CS50P offers intelligent motion detection and intelligent object detection - and brings the network camera to a new level of sophistication.

By using multiple image frames and a unique algorithm, Sony's intelligent functionality can detect human movement and at the same time ignore environment "noise" - such as trees moving in the wind, fountains or ripples in the water. It also allows the detection of unguarded objects or possessions that have been moved or deleted. These functions alleviate the task associated with video monitoring and provide a clear benefit for many application areas.

For further improvement of workflow and management of network video, the SNC-CS50P offers dual streaming with JPEG, MPEG4 and H.264. The advantage for the user is the flexibility in local monitoring, remote monitoring and recording. For instance; one high resolution stream can be stored in the camera, known locally and recorded locally for a specific period, while a lower resolution stream is sent over a low bandwidth connection and stored remotely in an archive.

The remarkable versatility of this camera is complemented by a Day / Night function Day / Night and Power over Ethernet (PoE) for flexible and redundant power options.
