Sony SNC-CS20/OUTDR24

The SNC-CS20 is a fixed network video camera suitable for indoor use. Because the SNC-CS20 has dimensions that are comparable to those of standard (analogue) CCTV cameras, it can be used in many (indoor) camera housings. Thanks to the possibility to feed the camera via PoE (Power over Ethernet) or with 24Vac or 12Vdc, it can be installed almost anywhere.

MPEG-4 and JPEG compression, Dual encoding

The SNC-CS20 supports MPEG-4 and JPEG compression, these are individually adjustable and can be used individually, but also simultaneously. Thanks to this dual encoding, it is possible to record high resolution, high frame rate video and view a low resolution, low frame rate live stream (or vice versa) at the same time.

Intelligent Motion Detection

By using multiple image frames and a unique algorithm, Sony's intelligent functionality can detect human movement and at the same time ignore environmental noise "- such as trees moving in the wind, fountains or ripples in the water. It also enables the detection of ( unguarded) objects or possessions that have been moved or removed.These functions alleviate the task associated with video monitoring and provide a clear benefit for many application areas.

Day / Night function

The IR filter in the SNC-CS20 provides the day / night function and switches between color and black / white mode. This function is automatic but can be set at fixed times or operated manually if required. In the night mode, a low light output is sufficient for the camera to still be able to produce images. That sensitivity can be improved by using one or more IR illuminators.
