The AXIS Q6044 is a top-of-the-line pan / tilt / zoom dome with excellent mechanical performance, HDTV 720p video quality and 18x optical zoom for indoor applications. The 18x zoom in combination with the HDTV resolution offers zoomed-in images that not only provide the same level of details as a 36x zoom, standard resolution (4CIF) camera, but also the added benefit of a wider (16: 9) angle of view.

Designed for easy and reliable installation, the AXIS Q6044 has an IP52-rated protection against dust and dripping water and is powered by Power over Ethernet.

The camera offers precise, high-speed control with a range of 180-degree tilt and 360-degree continuous rotation and with a speed range of 0.05 to 450 degrees / second. It has day / night functionality and offers multiple, simultaneous, individually configurable H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams.

Other features include the Advanced Gatekeeper and an SD / SDHC card slot for local storage of recordings. When an optional, multi-connector cable is used, the camera supports two-way audio, four configurable inputs / outputs and AC / DC power. The AXIS Q6044 is ideal for use in airports, train stations, casinos, stadiums and shopping centers.
