The AXIS Q6034 PTZ Dome Camera features HDTV video, an 18x optical zoom, and ultra-fast pan / tilt for very large area monitoring and zooming detail. Designed for easy and reliable indoor installation, the IP52 certified camera is the perfect solution for monitoring airports, train stations, casinos, stadiums and department stores.

Meets the SMPTE standards for HDTV

The AXIS Q6034 offers HDTV 720p according to the SMPTE 296M standard with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a full frame rate, HDTV color fidelity and the 16: 9 format. The AXIS Q6034 can deliver several individually configurable H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams simultaneously. Thanks to H.264, the bandwidth and memory requirements can be optimized without sacrificing image quality.

Outstanding coverage of larger areas

The AXIS Q6034 offers 18x optical and 12x digital zoom with autofocus. Thanks to the HDTV resolution, the camera's 18x zoom provides a widescreen (16: 9) field of view in addition to a level of detail similar to the 36x zoom of a 4CIF resolution camera. The advanced gatekeeper functionality allows the AXIS Q6034 to automatically pan to a predefined position when movement is detected in the monitored area. The day / night functionality also ensures high image quality even in low-light conditions.

Easy installation using Power over Ethernet

The camera can be powered by High Power over Ethernet (High PoE). This simplifies installation by requiring only a single cable for power, video and PTZ control. A High PoE midspan is included with the camera.
