AXIS P85 series
Identification cameras for use in stores, banks, healthcare institutions and other buildings.
The Axis P85 network cameras are specifically made for identification at eye level. The camera is integrated in a tube of half a centimeter in diameter and looks like a strip that you can attach anywhere. The cameras are therefore unobtrusive and suitable for use in supermarkets, clothing stores and numerous other stores.

The AXIS P85 network cameras are designed for placement at entrances and exits of buildings and are at a height that allows them to look straight into the face of people. This allows reliable identification even if the person is wearing a hat or cap. These hidden cameras are hardly detectable, are protected against tampering and make perfect shots thanks to the placement at eye level.

The cameras offer excellent image quality in 1 Megapixlel / HD720p in both H.264 and Motion JPEG streams. The camera is in a tube that presents itself as a round, decorative strip. The camera tube can be placed unobtrusively, for example near other pipes for water, electricity, heating, sprinkler installations etc.

The camera is optimal for use at a height of 160 cm. It has a fixed focus pinhole lens that delivers an image with a wide angle and is useful for both face identification and observation purposes.

The AXIS P8524 is available in different colors in an aluminum housing to fit perfectly in different environments.
The cameras are very easy to install using a (1) cable and because it is a tube, the direction of the camera can be adjusted by rotating the tube so that it points to the best place to view the faces of passing people. The cameras are supplied with a 3 meter mounted Ethernet cable with a female RJ-45 Ethernet connector.
