MOBOTIX presents the new Door Communication product line based on the international VoIP / SIP video telephony standard. When ringing a bell, a connection is established via the network with a video videophone or a PC. With a 3.1-megapixel camera including hemispheric optics, everything that happens in front of the door can be viewed. Selection of the image excision takes place with virtual PTZ over the telephone and without mechanical movements.

The doorphone automatically saves the activities for the door, including sound; when ringing a bell, during movements in the image or when activating contacts. The intercom and door opener are powered via the network cable or with the new Mx2Wire extension set simply via the two-wire bell wire. In this way an existing door communication system can be upgraded with very little effort to a versatile access control system with a multifunctional MOBOTIX camera with high resolution.
