AXIS 232D+

The AXIS 232D delivers high quality, full frame rate Motion JPEG video and the ability to control pan, tilt and zoom functions over an IP network such as LAN or the internet. The network dome camera also supports the simultaneous transmission of MPEG-4 video (mid Q1 2005).

The AXIS 232D has an 18x optical zoom, autofocus lens and a Sony ExView HAD interlaced CCD image sensor. As with all "real" domes, these Axis cameras can cover an area of ​​360-degree pan and 90-degree tilt. The AXIS 232D cameras offer 20 preset positions and 1 sequence (auto patrol) tour. There are 4 alarm inputs and 4 outputs available and advanced event management functions and a complete set with security features such as HTTPS and IP address filtering.

The AXIS 232D is a more extensive version of the AXIS 231D. Both deliver high-quality color video, in lighting situations as low as 0.3 lux. The AXIS 232D goes one step further with a light sensitivity of 0.005 lux in black and white mode. The AXIS 232D is a fully-fledged day and night camera and specifically designed for outdoor use. An outdoor housing with IP66 protection factor is available as well as a large number of mounting options.
