AXIS 223M

The AXIS 223M is a high performance network camera for day and night surveillance equipped with a 2.0 Megapixel CCD sensor and lens for exceptionally detailed images.

The camera delivers clear and sharp images that reveal every detail and has a 4x better resolution compared to an analog camera. The AXIS 223M has day / night functionality via the automatic IR filter that enables color images under normal light conditions and black / white images at darkness.

There is built-in support of Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) so that the camera can be powered via the network cable and thus eliminates installation costs for a 230V connection.

The AXIS 223M offers the most comprehensive set of network security and management options in the network video market. IEEE802.1X support allows the camera to connect to the network that is protected by port-based control, the HTTPS encryption provides a secure channel to the camera and enables authentication of the video source.

Installation and management of Axis video products can be performed efficiently with the powerful AXIS Camera Management and AXIS Installation Monitor tools. The AXIS 223M supports the Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) in addition to version 4, as an insurance against the growing shortage of IPv4 addresses.

The AXIS 223M is supported by the largest range of video management software in the industry and is a perfect solution for video security at bank branches, airports and other facilities such as traffic monitoring and entertainment centers via IP-based networks.
