March 2026: To use ACS Edge, the minimum camera firmware is currently 8.4 with an S3008 recorder and version 11.11 with an SD card. This may change to a higher version in the future.

It’s also possible to receive real-time alert notifications from anywhere, anytime. It requires minimum maintenance and includes continuous updates. Licenses come with all Axis devices simply insert an SD card or use an AXIS S30 Recorder and you’re ready to go. It’s easy to add new sites and devices to existing sites and there’s no need to manually configure each device. Furthermore, with out-of-the-box security and full system encryption as default, it helps you stay secure.
